Hector Lloyd (“B”) Robinson

Hector Lloyd Robinson, “B” as he was known by some, 76 years old died unexpectedly July 14, 2018 at Foothills Hospital in Calgary Alberta Canada. He was born March 20, 1942 in Manchester Devon, Jamaica. He was the son of Septimus and Sarah Robinson. Hector migrated to Canada in the 70s and worked for CP Rail for over five years, then he became a taxi driver from 1975-2007, for both Yellow cab and Associate cab for over 31 years after leaving the taxi business he worked for Monarch Messenger Service. Hector had a passion for the horses as well as helping anyone who was in need, he had a passion for dressing and always looking sharp, he also enjoyed cooking (oh his soups), cleaning and later in life his two puppies Coby and Lola, who was his loyal and dear companions till the end. Hector is survived by his ten children, Leisa, Donavan, Otis, Marcia, Judith, Karlene, Jermaine, Michael, Dwight and Todd, as well as his 32 grand-children and great-grand-children, hes also survived by his step-mother, five sisters, four brothers, numerous nieces, nephew as well as his girlfriend and her daughter, numerous families and friends. The funeral service will be held at Bridgeland SDA Church in Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, (lot 246 -D4), the family invites friends and relatives to share conversation and refreshment at the Bridgeland SDA Church following the interment.
