Hazel Margaret Larson

Mrs. Hazel Margaret (Buckle) Larson, of Calgary, Alberta, born on July 4th, 1928 in Canmore, Alberta, to Margaret Oliver and Robert Buckle, passed away at the age of 90 on September 9th, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta. Hazel was the beloved wife of the late Aldon Larson. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Larson; brothers, William, Edward, Harry, and Stephen; and sister, Mary Kelly. Hazel is survived by her sons, Glen (Laurie), David, and Terry (Bela); daughters, Judy Eklund and Brenda Larson; Grandchildren Lorne Clarke, Kimberly Forster (Brian), Lisa Ortman-Larson, Melissa Wilson-Larson (Chris); Great Grandchildren Samantha Forster and Bradley Forster (Rylee); and Great Great Grandchild Paige Katherine Forster. Hazel was always proud of graduating from Western Canada High School. She enjoyed making ceramics, knitting and crocheting. Hazel was very active in the community through the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Women in Need. A celebration of life will take place at Terrys home on Friday the 14th at 3:00 PM.
