With deepest sorrow, we announce that Duvane Anthony Hayden, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 31 years old.
Duvane Anthony Hayden was born August 20, 1990 in Calgary, Alberta at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. He had a passion for soccer and deep love for his family.
He is survived by his mother, Mauva Brown-Henry of Calgary, Alberta and step-father Garth Henry; daughter, Sekorah Hayden; brothers and sisters, Tiffany Hayden-Shephard, Oral Hayden, Rowan Hayden, Ricardo Barnes, Jameelah Hayden-James, Sasha Hayden, Leanda Hayden, Jenelle Bentley (Hayden-James), Alisha Hayden, Latisha Hayden, & Yandene (Maleka) McCalla, Garth “Chad” Henry, Java “JD” Henry; grandmother and grandfather; Sonia Ellis-Gordon and Joseph Gordon; nieces and nephews, Marqus and Natalia Calles-Barnes, Avaiah and Ayanah Walters, Ocean George and Olivia Hayden, Zariyah Jalloh-McCalla, Naturi Barnes, Jashia Henry; aunties and uncles, Mercedes Brown, Margaret-Mae Brown, Lisa Brown, Diane Green, Tina McNaughton, Damion Steer, and Shervin Brown. He had lots of extended family that loved him. Duvane was predeceased by his father, Henry Hayden who had passed in 1994; and his brother, Levar Hayden who had passed in 2017.
A Visitation will take place prior to the service at Showers of Blessings Church, (3915 34 St NE, Calgary) on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service will take place at Showers of Blessings Church, (3915 34 St NE, Calgary) on Saturday, June 11, 2022 and will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.
Immediately following the funeral, a Graveside Service will take place at Rockyview Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Road, Alberta, T1X 1G2) at 2:00 p.m.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life at the St. Vincent and Grenadines Association (2110 41 Ave NE, Calgary) at 4:00 p.m.
