Harmen Feenstra

FEENSTRA, Harmen October 7, 1924 August 11, 2012 Knowing that he was loved and cherished, Harmen Feenstra passed away on August 11, 2012 at the age of 87 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Karen; his children Rose Anne (John) Travers, Brenda (Aro) Dudley, Shirley (Bob) Angevine, Jane (Robert) Anderson, Tys (Tammy) Feenstra, and Tina (Jeff) Wraight; and his step-children Jennifer (Doug) Lamoureux, Bradley (Karrie) Lamoureux and Brett (Raehanne) Lamoureux. Harmen is also survived by his grandchildren Kim (Craig), Michelle (Brham), Terra (Ryan), Keltie (Daniel), Trent (Amber), Brock (Chelsey), Kalinda (Mark), Christal (Vince), Carly (Brian), Julie (Brandon), Joseph (Eva), Ian, Michael, Rob (Anita), Nathan (Brianna), Justin (Irina), Matthew (Jenni), Laura (Joel), Daniel, JianAi, Tristan, Teysia, Jordan and Shelby; his step-grandchildren Raymond, Brayden, Jada, Alivia, Dillon, Holly, Ava and Harper; his brother John (Dora) Feenstra as well as forty-eight great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his siblings Tys Feenstra, Wilbur Feenstra and Katherine Feenstra. Funeral Services were held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Airdrie Reunion Chapel (900 Reunion Gateway) on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm with interment following at the Crossfield Cemetery.
