Gwenda Seeger passed away suddenly on Friday, July 8, 2022  after a courageous battle with lung conditions came to an end.

Gwenda was born October 25, 1961 in Windsor, ON to Muriel and Leslie Ruston at Grace hospital. She was raised in Essex County on her parents farm. Gwenda had a love for animals and being outdoors. Some of her favorite activities were crafting and crocheting many various items for her family.  Gwenda loved camping and spending time with her friends and family. Gwenda was predeceased by her Brother; Larry Ruston. She will be dearly missed by her partner of seven years; James Reeves. Her children; Jason (Kim Schmidt) and Jacklyn (John Drha) Lewenza of Calgary, and her six grandchildren; Tyler, Isaiah, Austin, Donovan, Makenzie and Lucas. Gwenda is also survived by her siblings; Dale Ruston of Windsor, ON and Marilyn Ann Pinsonneault of Windsor, ON.

There will be a final viewing on Monday, July 11, 2022 for family and friends with a very small time slot. Viewing will start at 2:00pm and will conclude around 3:30pm. Services will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Service Ltd. (4121 17th Ave S.E. Calgary, AB)
