Gurahu “Shyam” Charan

Gurahu Charan passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the age of 85 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife Savitri Devi Charan and his five children Shareen, Praveen, Shalni, Shagni, and Sanjay; eight grandchildren; two sisters Deo Wati and Sudha Wati; and large extended family.
Mr. Charan was predeceased by three sisters Sushila Wati, Bodh Mati and Kamala Wati; and two brothers Shyam Chand and Tota Ram.
A Funeral Service will be held for Gurahu at Country Hills Crematorium (11995 – 16 Street NE, Calgary) on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm. The service will be live streamed at:
