It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria Martin, who departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the age of 84.

Gloria was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose kindness, strength, and caring spirit touched all who knew her. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her loving family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Maxine Gibbs and Pauline Morris; adoptive daughter, Paulette Alain; five siblings; one son-in-law, 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; her extended family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 4585 Hubalta Road SE, Calgary, Alberta

Viewing will take place at the church prior to the service commencing at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will follow the service at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, 243208 Garden Road NE, Calgary, Alberta

Though she is gone from our sight, Gloria’s love, faith, and beautiful memories will remain in our hearts forever.
