Never one to not do his own thing, Glenn left us in February. His time with us was most enjoyable and always a bit unpredictable. In his younger years as a successful Calgary automotive representative and realtor, he was known for his dapper style and exuberance for life. If there was music, Glenn was there playing his air guitar and moving his feet. Never one to miss a “good time” he was a real “party animal”. Glenn lost his mother (Lydia) and younger brother (Nelson) a few years ago but he made sure to never forget them. Glenn touched many people in many different ways in his time with us. Once he shook your hand, he became one of those guys that you could never forget. Glenn was always up for adventure and was intrigued with doing something out of the ordinary.
Glenn will be missed by his sister (Janet), his brother (Ross), his daughter (Jessie Lane), his nieces (Nicole and Amber), his nephews (Hayden and Kyle) and others in his extended family and his many friends around the world.
The family would like to send a huge thank you to the staff at Age Care Walden Heights for their kindness and patience over a two year span and in helping us navigate through the difficult months.
To celebrate Glenn’s time with us, there will be a gathering at one his favorite watering holes - The Blues Can, 2002 - 16 Avenue NW, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025. Of course, music will be involved so please come prepared to play air guitar and move your feet.
Glenn, we sincerely hope the music never stops playing for you.
