Gary David Prechner
July 4, 1956 — May 12, 2015
After a long courageous battle with diabetes we announce the passing of Gary David Prechner. On May 12th, Gary awoke in the arms of his savior Jesus Christ.
Gary was born in England and moved to Brampton, Ontario where he grew up. After living in various parts of Canada he settled in Calgary, Alberta with his wife and family.
Gary leaves to mourn and honour his memory; his wife, Cindy (Knauert), four sons; Christopher, Stephen, Allan and Brandon; his daughter Lisa Prechner (Chris); brothers Allen (Mary Jo), John (Cynthia), Derek and sister Tina (Mark). As well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, in-laws and many friends.
Gary was predeceased by his father Victor in 1984 and his mother Rhoda in 1989.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
