Eva Leavitt passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years Cleve; children, Kathy (Laurie) Davidson of Mississauga, ON, Brian (Brenda) Leavitt, Tom (Cheryl) Leavitt all of Langley, BC and Karen (Dennis) Stone of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Jeff, Katie, Warren, Alison, Heather, Jorgen, Spencer, Ted, Michael, Stephen, Carrie, Ben, David, Sommer, Jesse, Lindsay, Jordan, Ashley, Michelle and Stephanie; 40 great grandchildren and growing; her sister Arlene Thompson of Brooks, AB; and many more family and friends. Her family was her greatest passion followed by her desire to serve others. This was witnessed through the years with the people that she and Cleve invited to live in their home at different times. A Visitation will be held for Eva at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Sundance Chapel (100 Sunpark Drive SE, Calgary) on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be then held for Eva at the same location on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fort Langley, BC.
