Ernie Smart

Now in God’s Hands, Forever in Our Hearts Ernie will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Mary Lynn, children Bill (Chrissie), David (Linda), Shelley (Dave) Kinley, Grandchildren Ashley (Brandon), Matthew, Devin (Nicole), Zac (Katie), Mason, Torin (Ryan), Regan (Kyla), Honorary Grandchildren Braden and Avery, Great Grandsons Tyson, Patrick and Cameron. Also by his sister Elsie (Ernie) Pshyk. Ernie was born in Innisfree, Alberta the son of Metro and Mary Smart (both deceased), moving to Calgary to attend SAIT and for employment. Ernie proudly and happily worked for 35 years as a Power Electrician and Ground Fault Specialist for the City of Calgary Electric System (IBEW) retiring in 1992. Ernie lived life positively with integrity, humour and with his true love and companion Mary Lynn. As he always said “We had a good run”.
