Eric Viznaugh

Our Dad passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the age of 74 years. To cherish his memory is his family: children Eric Jr., Brad (Lana), Wanda (Steve), Todd (Karen) and Gail: grandchildren: Derek, Steven, Chelsea and Brianne; siblings: Mae, Orval (Marcella), Murray (Phyllis), Verne, Wayne, Armond (Helen), and Darlene; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his baby daughter Sheila; mother Florence; father Norman; brothers Bill infant brother Paul; and infant sister. Eric was born October 15, 1937. He worked at various jobs including bush camps, fisheries, CPR, Lakeland Dairies, Zero Food Sales & his own catering truck (Eric’s Bun Wagon) business for 29 years where he made many friends. He enjoyed most sports and was very competitive, however his passion was hockey, CFL, fastball and pool. Eric passed this spirit down to his children. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and karaoke. A special Thank You to the staff at Southwood Hospice, Palliative Care Unit. A Funeral Service will be held to Honor Eric’s life at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Avenue SE, on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. “There are Angels among us” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca.
