Eon Phillip Dos Ramos

With love and gratitude for the life of our Husband, Father and Grandfather, we announce the passing of Eon Phillip Dos Ramos, beloved husband of Pamela Dos Ramos of Calgary, Alberta, on October 24, 2025 at the age of 77 years.

Eon was born and raised in Guyana, South America, where he lived until after completing High School at St. Stanislaus College. He left for England to join his two brothers and pursued his higher education, specializing in marketing. Eon loved cricket, and later after emigrating to Canada, hockey. He played cricket in High School and afterwards in England. It was in England that he met his wife, Pamela.

Eon moved with his family to Canada in 1981 where he worked in the energy industry until he retired.

Eon will be deeply missed by family, friends, colleagues and everyone whose life he touched. It is hard to believe that we will no longer hear his infectious laugh or see the teasing twinkle in his eye. Eon will be missed for his determined approach to life, his devotion to family, and his abilities as an advisor on all things IT.

Eon will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend of over 50 years, Pamela of Calgary; his children, Christopher (Shahine) of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Justin (Tze) of Calgary; his beloved grandchildren Adrian and Jenna; and his sister Ann Marie Wood of Auckland, New Zealand.

Eon was predeceased by his parents, Zita Elsa and John Victor Dos Ramos and two brothers, Colin Dos Ramos, Terence Dos Ramos.

Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation commencing at 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service for Eon to follow at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Pierson's Funeral Service, 4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta. For those unable to attend may view the service through this highlighted link.  A reception will follow the service. Cremation will take place at Foothills Crematorium.
