Elena Cabungcal Nacua

Elena Cabungcal Nacua peacefully passed away on May 7, 2023. She was born on March 22, 1942 and was married to Paulino Nacua. Together they raised four wonderful children who made them grandparents of eight.
Elena had lived a wonderful life. Known to her loved ones as Helen, she was a Christian, a loving wife, and a wonderful mother. When her husband died, she raised her children on her own, each of them now accomplished. She was adored and loved by her grandchildren. When she was with them, she would dote on them, spoil them, and shower them with her generosity. She was a selfless person who helped her loved ones as much as she could and always shared what she had. The news of her passing has devastated her family and friends, both in Canada and the Philippines.
Elena is survived by her sons, Reuel (Ellen), Jude (Ruth), Elizer (Rebecca), and her daughter Anele (Luis). Her legacy will live on in her grandchildren: Bryant, Frances, Jude, Paul, Ezriel, Luaine, Iseah, and Leane. Elena will also be missed by her extended family in Calgary, Alberta.
Those who were honored to have met Elena, wish to mourn, and remember their fond memories of her, are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. at Pierson’s Funeral Service, 4121 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta.
