Eleanor Mary Hill

Eleanor Hill passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 93 years at Bethany Care Centre, Airdrie. AB. Eleanor will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Donna Cooper; her grandchildren Bob (Penny) Cooper and Tanya (Sol) Amanuel; her great-grandchildren Tyson (Nikki) Cooper and Hannah Amanuel; her great-great-grandchild Aria; her sisters Shirley Noble and Audrey Smith; her long time friends; and her Bethany and Church families. Eleanor was predeceased by her son Stuart Hill and her brother David Jamison. Eleanor will be remembered for her strong and determined personality. She was not afraid of a challenge and approached each of them with grace, love, and determination. In her spare time she could be found knitting, reading, doing volunteer work, and most importantly her interests in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Eleanor’s family would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at Bethany Care Centre in Airdrie, AB for the excellent care they have provided for her. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that a donation be made in Eleanor’s honor to the Airdrie Bethany Care Centre Handi-Bus fund (1736 1 Ave NW, Airdrie, AB). A Celebration of Life will be held for Eleanor at Living Springs Christian Fellowship (2304 Yankee Valley Blvd, Airdrie, AB) on November 4, 2017 at 11:00 am.
