It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Craig announces his passing at the Foothills Hospital on October 1, 2012 at the age of 76 years after complications from a stroke. He will be forever remembered by his daughter Deb Craig; his grandchildren Rachael (Shane) Johnston and Robert (Sarah) Thibault; his long time close friend Sylvia; his brother Ray (Rita) Craig as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Anna and Wilbur Craig; as well as his siblings Gertrude (Craig) Ketroskey and Lloyd Craig. Edward was born in St. John’s, NB but was a long time resident of Calgary. In his younger years he worked at CN Rail, but in later years he was the owner of “Craig’s Second Hand Store” located in downtown Calgary. Please come and celebrate Ed’s life and share your personal stories at the Royal Canadian Legion Alberta NWT #1 Branch (116 7 Ave SE) on Saturday, October 20, 2012, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.
