Edmund Brian West - "Ted" to all that knew him, passed away on September 2, 2026.

Artist, Sculptor, 60's & 70's music aficionado, television & food connoisseur.

Ted was born in Calgary on July 30, 1956. A true Calgarian, he was a cowboy at heart - boots, a big silver belt buckle. Always wore blue jeans and looked forward to the Stampede. This passion reflected in his art. Ted as well always enjoyed a chat or get together with family and friends.

Keeping his memory alive are his sisters: Ann Marie and Barb

Brothers in Laws: Barry, Justin and Owen,

Nieces & Nephews and their families:

Nicole, Steve and children Hudson & Adria.

Rob and Megan.

Mike & Raelyn and children Emery & Elliot.

Jenn & Orrin and children Brayden, Logan, Aurora & Kira.

Gorde & Dez and children Cooper & Joelle.

Chris & Cody.

Courtney and Mike and children Liam & Mikaela.

Ted spent the last 14 years in the comfort and support of his home - Perverbium 5.

Sharing in grief and missing him are his roommates: Kenneth, Josh, and most of all Bernie who each other considered their brother.

Always there was the support team who treated Ted like family:

Rebecca, Susie, Ray, Edmond, Noah & Kim.

Also deeply missed by Kevin Burke who will carry Ted's memory as his best friend of 55 years.

Ted will join his much loved father Gord, mother Yvonne and sister Jill, who all have passed before him,

under the marble headstone that he carved.
