Dorothy Margaret Peterson

Dorothy Margaret Peterson (née Musser) passed away peacefully at the Brentwood Care Centre in Calgary, Alberta, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the age of 84.

Dorothy was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, on April 6, 1942. Dorothy lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Ben, Shelly (Blair), and Deb (Brian). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Jimmy (Nicole), Ryan, Jeremy, Tara, Nikita (Julien), Howie, Amanda (Jarrod), and Matthew (Jill); her sister, Barb, and her brother, Rick (Sylvia), as well as many great grandchildren and relatives. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, and by her sister, Jessie.

Dorothy was a deeply loving mother and grandmother who cherished quality time spent with her friends and family. Whether it was visiting over a cup of tea or making a new recipe together, Dorothy’s priority was always about creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
