Doreen Oma Tyndle

TYNDLE, Doreen Oma December 8, 1934 May 13, 2013 Doreen Tyndle passed away with her daughter and son-in-law by her side on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her loving daughter Laurie (Ken) Whitelegg and grandchildren, Stuart (Traci), Joey and Kayla. Doreen is also survived by her brothers, Jay (Carol) and Lance (Lorenda); sisters, Marnie and Mary (Ron); and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bill Mackenzie, Bill Gould and Jim Tyndle; her parents, Lucy and Murl; brothers, Lester and Elmer; sister Viola; sisters-in-law, Doreen, Pat and Dorothy; brother-in-law Eric; and her beloved nephew Gordie. Doreen loved music and was a good dancer, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens and loved spending time with family and friends. Doreen was a valued Air Canada family member for 26 years, working in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed her work immensely and was loved by her passengers and colleagues alike. Doreen was a social person who loved to laugh and whose giggle could be heard wherever she was. She was gracious, generous, kind and friendly. Doreen was, and will always be, adored and forever missed by her family. A private family service will be held at a later date.
