Doreen Alma Neville (nee Sather)

Doreen Neville passed away on Saturday, March 16 at the age of 89. She was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan to Casper and Hazel Sather. She is lovingly remembered by daughters Dana (Kevin), Karen (Dave); seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother Glen Sather (Ann); and many other friends and family. She was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart (Duane) whom she met in Vulcan and married in1952 at the First Baptist Church in Calgary. She believed in hard work, played the piano, sewed, read, cooked and had many other skills she willingly shared with others. She spent hours creating beautiful quilts and clothing, often for others. Doreen worked at the University of Calgary in the faculty of Social Work.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she tirelessly supported her husband, daughters and their families. 

Doreen's last days were spent at Age Care Seton where she received loving care from the dedicated staff. Her family expresses their gratitude to Dr. Matt Henschke for his compassionate care.
