Doreen May Smith

Doreen Smith passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 just five days after her 81 birthday. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kendra Fowler and Kim (Allen) Johnson; grandchildren, Dane and Maren; sisters, Jennifer Calver and Sandra Brown. She was predeceased by her husband AJ Smith and sister Jean Watters. Doreen was born and raised in England. When she was 16, her family immigrated to Canada and she eventually settled in Calgary in 1965. Doreen’s family would like to thank the staff of Agape Hospice for the excellent care they gave to their mother. At Doreen’s request, no Funeral Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Salvation Army Agape Hospice, 1302 8 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1B8.
