Doreen Alma Besplug

Doreen Besplug passed away at Southwood Hospice on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 83 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Keith Besplug, of Courtney, BC, Kathleen Giesbrecht of Spruce Grove, AB and Brenda (Jerry) McNally of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Michael (Jackie), Matthew (Natalia), Daniel, Jordan (Alison), Tyler (Andrea), Joshua, Benjamin, Telisha and Sydney; great grandchildren Madyson and Farrah, and many more family and friends; She was predeceased by her husband Richard Besplug and parents Henry & Louise Heather. Doreen will be remembered for so many things, her love for her family was endless, she tried very hard to be an active part of everything. She will also be remembered for volunteering her time at her childrens schools and her community. She was very creative in the kitchen the yard and garden, she loved cooking, crafts, bingo, casino and playing cards with her friends. Renowned for making such incredible food, as well as many projects with knitting, needle point and so many other crafts. She was married to her husband Richard for 58 years until his passing in 2012, their life was an incredible unique journey and now are together once again. She has spent the last few years of her life happily living with her daughter Brenda and her family, she will be very much missed. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
