Donald “Don” Victor Williamson

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Victor Williamson announce his passing on May 4, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Don leaves behind his children Ellen (Nigel), Deborah (Kevin), David, Edward (Sue), and Ronald (Michelle); his grandchildren; Chris, Tanya, Terri, Scott, Stephen, Geoffrey, Graham, Derrick, Daphnee, Faith, Mikayla, Tabitha as well as 17 other adopted grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Don is also survived by his sister Dorothy as well as Mike Willett and Stewart Esslemont, both having a special place in Don’s heart. Don was predeceased by his loving wife Nellie. Don and Nellie were happily married for 58 years. They are now together once again, this time forever. Don will be forever in our hearts and always remembered. A Memorial Service will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE) on Monday May 9, 2016 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Don’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Calgary Office (119 14 St NW #200, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6).
