Diane Leslie O’Donnell

It is with great sadness that the family of Diane O’Donnell announces her passing on November 2, 2017, in Calgary, at the age of 43 years. Diane is survived by her mother Diane Hunter (Harold Fursman); her brother Leonard Bangay, both from Calgary; her brother Michael Bangay; her children Gerald Bangay (Kimberley Elliott) and Beverly O’Donnell; and her granddaughter Sidney Bangay, all from Dartmouth, N.S.. She was predeceased by her father Leonard Bangay. Diane had a passion for life and laughter. Whether it be playing darts or pool, her main goal was to always have a good time while enjoying the company of those she loved. Her contagious laugh and great sense of humor always had others in stitches. Diane was a beacon of light for many and will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. A Funeral Service will be held for Diane at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Diane’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
