Derryl Eldred Caldwell

Derryl Caldwell passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 71 years. 

Derryl is survived by his brother, Kevin Caldwell and sister, Kathy (Ron) Westerdaal; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Caldwell, Erin (Tyler) Reilly, Clinton (Samantha) Robson and Lisa Cheah; grand-nieces and nephews, Oscar Bandelow, Damara Robson, Haley Robson, Theo Robson, Sophie Cheah, Casey Reilly and Carrick Reilly; along with many extended family in southern Alberta. He is predeceased by his parents, Melvin and Alene.

Derryl was born with cerebral palsy. His home for the past 24 years has been Resicare where he made many friends over the years. Derryl had a great personality, a wonderful sense of humour that came with an infectious laugh. He loved his teams, especially the Flames and the Stampeders. He also enjoyed getting into the outdoors fishing. He will greatly missed by his family, roommates and the staff at Resicare. 

A Funeral Service will be held for Derryl at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Bow Valley Chapel (2526 - 24 Avenue NW , Calgary) on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Graveside Service will be at Temple Hill Cemetery in Raymond, AB at 3:30pm.
