Dean Kenneth Lamb

Dean Lamb passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the age of 66 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Debbie Hamrlik; her children, Michelle (Mike), Shelley (Eldon), and Stacey (Zee); his grandchildren, Naomi, Nolan, Mayson, Nevada and Makenna; Dean’s siblings, Jan (Tim), Barb (Darryl), and Karyn; sister in-law, Cindy; as well as many more family members.

Dean was born in Kamloops, BC to Lea Brown. He grew up in Calgary, AB and was introduced to the Alberta oil Industry at the young age of sixteen – a job he flourished in his whole life. Dean was a big fan of sports. He grew up playing hockey and cheering on his favorite team, the Montreal Canadiens. Dean had many hobbies and interests in his life, but the one that really shined bright was his love for his grandkids and his numerous nieces and nephews. He was an amazing big brother to his sisters and an amazing father who spent lots of one and one time with his children. It would feel so wrong to not mention his massive hat collection. Something he was greatly proud of, and all the other collectables he accumulated over the years. Dean’s gentle soul and kind heart will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.

Dean was predeceased by his mother, Lea Brown; Mother in law, Cecile; and his nephew, Cameron.
