Dean Fincaryk

March 26, 1970 — November 19, 2025

The family of Dean Fincaryk is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta. He left this world surrounded by his children, their spouses, his brother, and several loved ones who gathered to hold him with great love and care.

Dean was born on March 26, 1970, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He spent his early years just outside of Nobleford and later lived in Lethbridge before moving to Airdrie in the early 2000s, a community he would call home for the rest of his life.

Dean lived his life to the fullest. He had an unmistakable love for life and a presence that filled every room he entered. He was fearless, energetic, and always a tremendous amount of fun. Adventure was part of his nature. He loved sports cars, motorbikes, quads, sledding, scuba diving, water sports, Sea-Doo’s, and dirt bikes. He also loved escaping the winter and spending time in the sun in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica.

For over twenty years, Dean worked in the RV industry as a sales representative. He was very successful and took great pride in helping people find the right fit for their travels and adventures. He also spent many years flipping cars and had a remarkable ability to find value in every vehicle he touched. He had the golden touch and always managed to turn something into a win.

Dean was fiercely loyal and protective. His love language was taking care of and providing for the people he loved. He was a devoted father, a proud grandfather, and a constant source of support for family and friends. His loyalty ran deep, and his protective nature was strong. Those who knew him knew he would always show up.

Dean is survived by his children and his six grandchildren, whom he adored and loved to spoil. Taralyn McCarthy with her husband Craig and their children Calvin, Sam, and Fletcher, Tyson with his wife Desiree and their children Maclin and Riley, and Austin with his wife Kayla and their daughter Karsen.

He is also survived by his brother Dale and by his nephew Darren. Dean was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mary Ann Fincaryk, who both passed away on November 17, 1989.

Cremation has taken place.
