David Francis passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Sheila; children, Rita Francis (Rick), Clive Francis, Richard (Praveena) Francis and Anita Francis; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Pricsilla, Prienna, Dave (Erin), Sunita, Anita and Bobby; one great grandchild; four brothers; six sisters; and amny more family and friends. He was predeceased by one sister. David was born and raised in Fiji. He played soccer for the team in Tavua for 15 years and then managed it for 10 more. He loved playing soccer, singing and listening to music. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (15 Templebow Road NE, Calgary) on Friday, April 26, 2013 at1:00 pm with Rev. John Pinto OCD celebrant.
