Darrel Wayne Ross
November 13, 1967 — August 7, 2021
Darrel Ross passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the age of 53 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years Theresa Babb; son Dillon (Autumn) McGovern; daughter Danielle; grandchildren Amber, Noah, Kamryn and Jaxon; mother Bernice Ross; siblings Doris Wendt, Patsy Olsen, Larry Didychuk, Lynda Markowski, Penny Smith, Roger Smith, Bernice Ross; close friends Mark Kruger and Tyler Daze; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Wayne Ross and close friend Phil Deschamps.
Darrel was born in Red Deer, AB and raised in Calgary, AB. He was a heavy duty mechanic and also enjoyed working on cars for the hope of one day restoring a 67 Ford Mustang. Darrel also enjoyed hosting family and friends in his backyard for fires and spent much of his time volunteering with Eastside Victory Outreach working with those that needed help in the local community.
A Celebration of Darrel’s life will be held in Theresa and Darrel’s backyard on August 21, 2021 from 1-4pm. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Darrel to Eastside Victory Outreach (
