Cynthia Edessa Hurdman

Cynthia Edessa Hurdman, a loving mother of 7, grandmother of 22, and great-grandmother of 13, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 24, 2022, at home in Calgary at the age of 78. Cynthia was born on January 24, 1944 and was the oldest of 6 children. She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Gertrude Hurdman as well as 2 of her children, Sheri Jensen, and Shane Wilson. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters along with her children and their families. She will be remembered as a compassionate, good-hearted soul that never had an unkind word for anyone. She was incredibly creative and loved to express it through her sewing, crocheting, and scrapbooking. She also loved to sing and was passionate about working on her family history. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Seton Chapel – 530 Seton Passage SE Calgary on Monday October 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM.
