Cynthia Rose Claus

Cynthia "Cindy" Rose Claus a compassionate soul, passed away on March 27, 2024.

Described as very kind and always willing to lend a helping hand, Cindy's spirit shone brightly even in the face of adversity. Despite the challenges of raising her children sometimes for long periods on her own, she tackled each obstacle with grace and determination, always striving to give her best.


Cindy is survived by a loving  family who will carry on her legacy of kindness and strength. Her husband of 26 years, Brad Claus, stood by her side through thick and thin. Her children, Melanie (Joel) Brenner of Radium BC, Wes (Jennifer) Marko of Calgary, AB, Adam Marko of Calgary, AB, Josh (Angie) Marko of Staples, ON; stepchildren Kayley Claus of Airdrie, AB, Bridgette (Josh) Rance of Beiseker, AB, Ari Omura of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Brody, Spencer, Elias and  Emily, Tannaya, Grayson and Addison, Dreyton, Keira and Ameila;  her mother, Marie; as well as Cindy's brothers, Greg and Mark; will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Cindy was predeceased by her father,  Ross McGrath; as well as her brothers, Sean and Scott.

Cindy's life was  woven with love, resilience, and selflessness. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched with her compassion and generosity. May she rest in peace.
