Cornelius “Neil” Neufeld Peters
September 10, 1956 — June 2, 2023
Neil sadly passed away on Friday June 2, 2023 at the age of 66 years.
Neil will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Bruce and Bryan; siblings, Anna, Elizabeth, Jacob, Henry, John, Nettie, Agatha, and Dave; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. Neil is predeceased by his parents Anna and Abraham, and brothers Abraham and Pete.
Neil was born and spent his youth in Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young adult, he along with his brother Dave, immigrated to Manitoba before eventually settling in Calgary, AB. He was a skilled tradesman and an exceptional finishing carpenter. He could build and repair most anything. The last few years, Neil was Site Supervisor and Project Manager for Results Interiors Ltd.
Funeral Services will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17th Ave SE, Calgary) on Monday June 12, 2023 at 1:00pm
Graveside Interment will take place at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) following the service, with a Celebration of Life afterwards.
The family has requested no floral tributes. If desired monetary contributions may be made by towards funeral costs by E-Transfer to
