Colette Marie Marguerite Francoise Knapp

With a mixture of sadness, relief and joy, the family of the late Colette Knapp announce that on her peaceful passing on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the age of 69 years. She passed at home, surrounded by those she loved in the place she wished to be. Our sister in Christ left the shackles of suffering at the hands of her cancer for the joyous arms of her husband and her parents. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons James Knapp and Steven Knapp; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchild; and many more family and friends. Colette was a role model and guide and the most dedicated wife, mother, aunt and grandmother.

Rest peacefully in heaven and continue to look down on us as we strive to live up to our best potential.

The family wishes to thank all those that have helped their family at this time. Visitation and Prayer services will be held for Colette at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1525-45 Street S.E., Calgary) on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with prayers at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Colette at the same location on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11:00 am. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (
