Clifton “Ld” Eldon Aylward

Clifton “LD” Aylward passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 60 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary; son Cliffie; step children Arlene (John), Perry (Candace), Donna (Mauricio) and Matthew (Kayla); 12 grandchildren; sisters Debbie (Tom), Bonnie (Gary) and Wendy; brothers Keir (Karen), Carl (Shelly), Wade (Nell) and John “Guppy”; many nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jean and Clifton and brother Myles. LD was born in Toronto, ON and raised in Port Hastings, NS. In 1979 he moved to Calgary which has been his home ever since. LD was a hard worker all through his life. He was an ironworker and worked for local 725 for many years. He always said he loved being in the air. In his spare time he would enjoy tinkering in his shop and playing with his grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held for LD at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
