ROBERTSON, Clarence Lee “Dil” November 26, 1926 April 6, 2012

Dil Robertson passed away at his home in Boise Idaho on Friday, April 6, 2012, surrounded by his children. He was born on November 26, 1926, in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada, to Frank and Elizabeth Robertson. Dil married his beloved wife, LaRae Collett (deceased), in 1951. They are the parents of five children; Rondalee Loosle (Barry), Frank Robertson (deceased), Paul Robertson (Lynn), Karl Robertson (Jeanna), and Fred Robertson (Sue); seventeen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dil served as a Bishop and the President of the Calgary South Stake. He and LaRae served a Church Education Mission in Las Vegas, Nevada. His life-long career was in the heavy construction business in Canada and abroad. He built roads, dams, bridges, railroads, and pipelines all over Canada and parts of the US. From the seat of a bulldozer to a leader in the industry he worked in many positions including General Manager and Vice President of Mannix Construction and the President of Loram International, Ltd and Vice President of Washington Construction. The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the LDS Chapel located at 5555 N Locust Grove, Meridian, Idaho. A viewing was held from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church in the Relief Society Room. All are welcome to attend the interment which will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens located at 1515 100th St. S.E., in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Following the graveside services, please join the family at the Parkland LDS Chapel, 14540 Parkland Blvd SE, from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
