Clara Kaye Semeniuk

Clara Semeniuk passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the age of 93 years.
She was born in Pakan, Alberta on November 19, 1926 to Michael and Grapina Zukiwsky, she was the fourth of six children with brothers and sisters Marie, Metro, Nick, Pauline, and Ed. She married Fred N. Semeniuk in 1943. She was known for her cooking and baking, especially her pastries, cakes, and Ukrainian dishes.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred Semeniuk in 1994, and eldest son Mel Semeniuk in 2005. Clara is survived by her son Ted (Kathy); Daughter in-law Vahlleri (Mel); grandchildren Gerry (Lisa), D’Ette (Ken), Scott (Amber, Shawn and Callie), and Aaron; Great-grandchildren Cade, Zane, Jess, Taya, and Jakob.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bethany 3 west for their support and compassion during her time there.
Funeral Service will be held for Clara at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Crescent Road Chapel (202 Crescent Road NW, Calgary) on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to The Calgary Humane Society or to The Meow Foundation.
