Claire Paton passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Samantha (Devon) Scheiber; grandchildren Desiree and Xavier; sister Rene (Vic) Tout of London, England; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Christopher Paton and parents Albert & Amelia Hicks. Claire was born and raised in England. She moved to Canada in her early twenties and eventually made Calgary her home where she met and married the love of her life Christopher Paton. Claire loved the outdoors, her dogs and reading. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held for Claire at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel (16 Avenue & Garden Road / 100 Street NE, Calgary) on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
