It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl McKerrell who passed away on April 25, 2022 after a brief illness.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, George McKerrell along with his family; her sister, Marilyn Ackerman; two brothers, Reg and Richard Ackerman; sister-in-laws, Darla and MaryAnn Ackerman and their families and was also a doggy mom to Holly.
Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, her father-in-law, Ed Mckerrell; brothers, Peter and Percy Ackerman and her nephew Preston Ackerman.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed by those who loved her. To them she was a force of nature.
A special thank you to the hospital staff in Units 71 and 93 at the Rocky View Hospital for their great care of Cheryl. Another special thank you to family and friends for their amazing support.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Cheryl’s name to an Animal Care Center of your choice.
