Charles “Chuck” Fraser

March 22, 1935 — May 14, 2022

Chuck Fraser passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his wife of sixty four years Peggy Fraser; children, Scott Fraser of Sherwood Park, Heather (Errol) Anderson of Calgary, and Stuart (Kathy) Fraser of Vernon, BC; grandchildren Leigh, Jeff (Chelsea), Brad (Christine), Brodie, and Regan (Kyle); sister Joyce Court of Halifax, NS; and many more family and friends.

Chuck was born and raised in Regina, SK. He met the love of his life Peggy while attending Scott Collegiate. They were married and blessed with three children. Chuck enjoyed a long and successful career. Moving from Sherwood Park, AB to Mississauga, On, where he was GM of the Canadian offices for A.P. Green Refractories. Retired in Kelowna BC, where he had a membership at Sunset Ranch golf. Missing their family and grandchildren, Chuck and Peggy moved back to Alberta, where they enjoyed living in Cochrane for many years. Then making the final move to Calgary three years ago. Chuck and Peggy loved traveling, cruising and yearly vacations to Hawaii with their family and friends. They were also snowbirds and spent half the year enjoying the Arizona sun. Chuck enjoyed playing and watching golf, celebrating birthdays, and a nice glass of scotch every once in awhile. He always wanted to spend as much time as possible with his grandkids and was proud to have two great-grandkids. Brad and Christine have planted a tree on their acreage in honor of their grandpa.

A Private Family Service will be held for Chuck at a later date.
