Charles David Cantley

David passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on July 7, 2018, at the age of 59, surrounded by his family. David is survived by his mother May Johnson, sisters Diane and Karen and his brother Tom, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David was born in Calgary, AB and lived his entire life there. In his early years David was enlisted with the Navy and travelled all over the world. This is where his passion for the outdoors all began. He loved the outdoors and took every chance he could to take his dogs and just get out of town. Whether he was camping, fishing, rafting down the Bow River, he was happiest outdoors. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Davids ashes are to be spread in the Alberta mountains in the near future. A get together with the family will be scheduled this summer.
