Cathy Canonaco

CANONACO, Cathy November 8, 1947 July 26, 2012 After a brave battle with cancer, Cathy passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 64 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 43 years, Frank; her children Carmela (Adrian) Molloy and Joey (Laura) Canonaco; her grandson AJ Molloy; her mother Maria Ragonese; her siblings Vincent (Peggy) and Fernando; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Cathy was predeceased by her father Rafaelle Ragonese in 1990. Cathy’s family would like to thank all the staff of Unit 47 at Foothills Hospital for their care and compassion. Prayer Services to be held at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel (16 Ave and Garden Road/100 Street NE) on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (1714 14 Ave NE) on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Prairies/NWT Region, 10665 Jasper Avenue, Suite 700 Edmonton, Alberta T5J 3S9).
