Our loving father passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Foothills Hospital. He is survived by his sons Kerwin (Diane), Leon (Myna), Raymond (Helen); his daughter Sherleen (Rick); fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; his brother Maurice; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Betty; his son Cary and his wife Susan; grandchildren Alicia, Cary Jr and Tasha; his parents Casper and Lilian as well as his sister Lilian and her husband John. He was born in Battleford, Sask. His passion in life was music and teaching children piano lessons. He volunteered at Calaway Park for 25 years. Celebration of Life to be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 17 Ave SE) on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 10:00 am. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
