Carl James Deere

It is with heavy, saddened hearts that the family of Carl James Deere announce his passing on November 8, 2016 in Calgary, at the age of 91 years. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Ruby Margurite Deere; his daughters Colleen Deere and Cindy (Darcy) Haase; his 6 step children; 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, all of Ontario. Carl was a well respected man who worked for The City of Calgary Transportation Department for 36 years. After retirement, Carl and Ruby enjoyed traveling together, always finding time to play 18 holes. Carl was a good man; loving and kind, with a dry sense of humor. He was always up for a laugh. Carl will be sadly missed by family, friends and all those who had the absolute pleasure of knowing him.
