On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Mr. Canute Eggeton Baker, beloved husband of Barbara Baker of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 79 years.
Canute is survived by his beautiful wife, Barbara Baker; six children; eight siblings; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great- grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Apostolic Ark Pentecostal Church, 4885 Hubalta Road SE, Calgary, Alberta.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Canute at 10:00am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Showers of Blessing Apostolic Church, 3915 - 34 Street NE, Calgary, Alberta.
Viewing will take place prior to service at the church commencing at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will follow the service at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, 243208 Garden Road NE, Calgary, Alberta.
