Calvin Wendell Timmons, born on June 16, 1966, in Calgary, Alberta, passed away on July 9, 2025, in the city of his birth. Calvin was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather who made a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Calvin's career began in a warehouse where he expertly operated various machine rigs, overseeing a 4-colour press that garnered him several awards. This is also where he was introduced to Denise, The love of his life. With a desire to challenge himself further, he made a significant career transition into plumbing. Calvin dedicated himself to his plumbing career, eventually achieving journeyman status, and found fulfillment working for Mount Royal University. His passion for learning led him to seize the opportunity to explore Power Engineering, showcasing his remarkable potential. Ultimately, he embraced Building Automation Technology as his final career, marking a distinguished journey through multiple professions.
In addition to his professional achievements, Calvin was known for his vibrant personality. He was a resourceful man who could fix anything that broke and approached life with a sense of adventure and fearlessness. His spirit was evident in his hobbies, which included scuba diving, swimming with sharks in the Bahamas, skydiving on numerous occasions, and camping with his close friends. A dream of his was to drive across Canada to Newfoundland, a journey he had planned to undertake this year, unfortunately thwarted by illness.
Calvin had a deep love for animals, particularly his dog Levi and his grand-dog Winston, who brought him great joy, and they will surely miss him dearly.
Calvin is survived by his beloved wife, Denise LeBlanc; daughter Brittney Meszaros (Jay) of Didsbury, Alberta; son Jessy Timmons (Chalsie Henry) of Calgary, Alberta; sister Wendy Deibert-Canning (Les Canning) of Pigeon Lake, Alberta; sister Kathy Timmons of Calgary, Alberta; and his four grandchildren. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
