Barrie Joseph Secord

It is with broken hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved Barrie Joseph Secord. Barrie was born on September 26, 1989 at 4:33 am and passed away peacefully in his mother’s loving arms at 7:50 pm on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the age of 33 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Annetta Secord of Calgary, AB; His son, Damien Joseph Secord of Calgary, AB; Barrie’s sisters, Jennifer ( Tyler Hawkins) Secord of Strathmore, AB and Lacey Secord of Chilliwack, BC; his grandmother, Della Secord of Calgary, AB; as well as his nephews, Kylan and Gabriel; and nieces, McKayla and Kalee.

Barrie was known for his passionate heart and selflessness in helping others. He was a loving father to Damien and the best uncle to Kylan, Gabriel, McKayla and Kalee. Barrie will be dearly missed by his extended family, friends and everyone whose life Barrie touched.

A celebration of life will be held for Barrie at a later date.
