With deep sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Vincent (née Lee) on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 50 years.
Barbara Ann Vincent (nee Lee) was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Those that were closest to her knew her as a kind, beautiful soul. She was there for anyone. She graduated from Crescent Heights High School in 1994.
In 2005, she met Brian Vincent on a dating website and the two hit it off together. They knew they were meant to be together and, in 2006, were married. She enjoyed cross stitching and made beautiful works of art.
Church was important to her and she began attending Foothills Lutheran Church in 2005. She helped as an usher, greeter, setting up communion, and taking minutes at voter's and planning council meetings.
Barbara fought the good fight all of her life, but never gave up. She enjoyed police drama TV programs like Blue Bloods and NCIS, but got a good laugh from watching sitcoms like Reba and Frasier. Her cheeks would often have a rosy, red glow and her smile would simply light up any room. Career-wise, Barbara excelled at being an office administrator for a large law firm which came with its challenges, but she handled it with grace. She believed in the virtues of hard work. Barbara had a big heart: sincere, honest, tender, thoughtful, and overflowing with love. She was loved by many and will be missed by everyone who was touched by her.
Along with her husband of 20 years, Brian, Barbara will be lovingly missed by her mother Bernice Lee; sister, Pamela Lee (John Lipsz) of Montreal, Quebec; nieces Miranda Lee and Serena Lee of Montreal, Quebec; a large circle of cousins and their spouses; extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by cousin, Brian Machuk and his wife Fran Machuk; uncle and auntie, Pete and Iris Machuk; uncle, Jim Zrymiak; grandparents, Reier and Jenny Lee, and Annie and William Dobko.
Come to me all who are weary
and I will give you rest.
