Arthur James “Jim” Beck

With sad hearts we announce the passing of Arthur James “Jim” Beck, son, father, brother and uncle. His career was with R. Angus, Finning from 1977 to 2012, 35 years right out of high school. When Jim retired, he volunteered many hours with AARCS and Telus Sparks. Jim was predeceased by his mother Louise E. Beck. Jim is survived by his two sons Christopher “Chris” James Beck of Strathmore, and Dustin William Beck of Calgary; his brother William “Bill” Gordon Beck (Siegrid) of Calgary; his sister Heather Louise Francis Sieb (Jerry) of Calgary; and nephew Max Cleric Roux of Airdrie. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jim’s memory to either any animal shelter or the Arthritis Society of Canada. As per Jim’s request, there will be no funeral service. He will be cremated a interred with his mother and grandparents in Queen’s Park Cemetery.
