Arthur Edmond Moore Jr.

Art Moore passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the age of 61 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jamie (Danny) Blahun, Bill (Kim) Marks and Jason (Edyta) Moore; daughter-in-law Tracey Marks; grandchildren, Stephen (Molly), Corey-Jo, Lindsay, Faith, Daniel, Joshua, Christopher, Jessica, Lucas and due any day now Nathan Arthur Moore; sister Edith Beavis; 1st wife and mother of his children Ruth Moore; second wife and good friend Val Moore; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers. Art was born and raised in Oshawa, ON. He moved to Calgary and made Forest Lawn his home for many years. He loved working on cars, riding motorcycles and even spent a few years as a “Mountain Man” in BC. However, his greatest passion was his family. A Memorial Service will be held for Art at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 am. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary – Forest Lawn Club (731 – 13 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB T2E 1C8).
