Apolinario Patriarca Palciso

On Thursday, September 10, 2026 Mr. Apolinario Patriarca Palciso, also known as Narding or Polly of Calgary, Alberta, passed away at home with family by his side at the age of 76 years.

Apolinario P. Palciso, affectionately known as "Narding or Polly", was born on December 06,1949,in Bitik, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque, Philippines and was raised in Marinduque. He was the beloved son of the late Brigido M.Palciso and the late Juanita P. Palciso.

Polly was known for his kindness, humor, and dedication to family and friends. His hardworking nature and warm personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He pursued his education at the University of the Philippines, Diliman Quezon City and went to build a successful career as a Personal Manager at Ludesco Inc. Philippines.

Through a penpal correspondence, Polly met his future wife, Cresencia Zambrano. What begun as frienship blossomed into a deep and enduring love. They married in the Philippines in 2001, and shortly afterward, Polly moved to Canada to join Cresencia and begin their life together.

Polly will be remembered for his generosity, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Polly is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cresencia Palciso of Calgary; his brothers Alexander P. Palciso of Lucena City, Quezon Province, Philippines, Santiago P. Palciso of Tel Aviv, Isreal; nieces and nephews Pinky P. Carcillar and Patrick Palciso, Peterson A. Palciso, Pamela A. Palciso, all of Lucena City, Quezon Province, Philippines; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Polly was predeceased by his parents, Brigido M. Palciso and Juanita P. Palciso; brothers Rodolfo P. Palciso, Rolando P. Palciso, Eligio P. Palciso, Allan Palciso; and a sister Julia P. Valerio.

A time of visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Pierson's Funeral Service, 4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta.
